- Developers who need to create routing enabled applications (desktop, server, web ..)
- Power users with a need for doing complex network analysis: TSP, Isochrones, Join network, locate subnets …
The licensing structure is just the way you want it: Almost royalty free and you only have to upgrade, when you want to!
RW Net is the flagship routing product. It is the result of many years of R&D.
It is aimed at developers who need to create routing-enabled applications (desktop, server, web ..)
and analysts who need to do network analysis (matrices, travelling salesman, network checking ..)
as part of their daily tasks.
Platforms
- .NET assembly (Mono and Xamarin compatible)
- Delphi XE2-XE8-10-10.1 (32/64 bit) library
- DLL for MapInfo/MapBasic (32/64 bit)
Features
- Import from: MIF, SHP, TAB, SQL-server, custom formats
- Import from: MS SQL, PostGIS
- Output to: CSV, DBF, GeoJSON, GML, KML, MIF, SHP, TAB, array
- Geographic & projected coordinates
- Shortest / fastest / cheapest route
- Node-2-node routing
- Dynamic segmentation
- Driving directions
- Isochrones, service areas
- Limits (max weight, width etc.)
- Turn restrictions
- Automatic identification of left/right turns
- Matrices
- Spatial searches
- Travelling salesman optimization
- Nearest N facilities
- Topological checks of data
- Hierarchical routing
- Approach based routing
- Join links
- Encryption
- Unicode support
- etc.
Any Mapinfo TAB-file (native support), MapInfo mif/mid-file, ArcView SHP-file, GML with a polyline network, which doesn’t need topology. However lines will have to connect (“snap”). TIGER/Line, GDT, TeleAtlas … could be a source.
You are not limited to road networks: RW Net can also be used for pipelines, telecommunication, rivers etc.
Output
Route’s, isochrones, distances, travelling times ….
RW Net is very flexible in terms of giving you access to the results in the way you want: Directly as output to TAB/SHP or you can query the individual part of a route, isochrone ….
See the feature matrix for more information
RW Net works perfectly together with any mapping component: MapX, MapObjects, CartoVCL/CartoX, GeoObjects …
- Platform
- Active-X: Visual Basic, Visual C++, ArcGIS 8, PowerBuilder …
- 32-bit DLL: MapBasic, ArcView 3 ….
- Borland Delphi 5-7
- Borland C++ Builder 6
- Borland Kylix 2-3 (ask for this version)
(The Borland versions will not work with personal, open or trial editions of the compiler)
RW Net can also be used together with your desktop GIS, if you are doing analysis for yourself and don’t need to distribute applications. However you still need some programming experience.
